I guess the graffiti artists have run out of walls to paint.
Even though Bologna doesn't have some of the big names or familiar sights, like Florence and Rome, I definitely preferred Bologna. It hasn't been ruined by the tourist industry yet: I wasn't charged at every door; prices were cheaper; it was less crowded; it had a much smaller percentage of tourists; the food was better; it was easier to find authentic settings; even though I'm not a shopper, I appreciated that it was primarily Italian products, whereas Florence has been overrun by international companies; and the porticos made for nice lighting and all-day walking. This photo gallery is the first of a three part series. Part 2 is of Florence, and part 3 is of Rimini. Part 2 - under construction.
