This massive modern sculpture outside of Fort Worth's Modern Art Museum is a visual and acoustic treat. I copied this little girl's idea and stood in the same place moments later. It's called Vortex, by Richard Serra.

Had to crawl on the floor with my wide-angle lens for this one, but I think it was worth it. The security guard gave me a weird look, but she liked the result.

I'm imitating a very modern techniques here - geometric shapes, lines, form, color, "found art," etc. The Ladder for Booker T. Washington can be seen in the next room.

I barely edited this one, believe it or not. I love Francis Bacon's self portrait, which seems to be watching these two museum-goers. Love the balance in this picture, and the colors too.

This is "Book with Wings" by Anselm Kiefer.

Mondrian, of course. I'm using my macro though, so this is really only a few inches wide, if not less. I've increased the tonal contrast to bring out the brush strokes. I missed focused a little, so it's not super sharp. Sorry. I love how I can see the layers of colors he made as he experimented and tried to find the perfect placement of each line and color.
